We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Physiotherapist or Occupational Therapist to join our team as a Band 6 professional. The successful candidate will have a strong background in posture and mobility services, with experience in prescribing and managing manual and powered wheelchairs.
About the Role:- Assess the mobility needs of adults and children with complex needs, and prescribe manual and powered wheelchairs with associated posture management and pressure management accessories.
- Work closely with clinical and operational colleagues to deliver high-quality service performance, with a focus on personalized approaches and measured outcomes.
- Liaise with service user groups and other stakeholders to facilitate joint working and identify opportunities for improving service user outcomes.
- Provide support for internal and external training programs, including apprenticeships and student placements.
- Undertake and document necessary risk assessments and corresponding risk management.

Requirements:- Registration with the HCPC as an Occupational Therapist, Physiotherapist, or Clinical Scientist, or registration as a Nurse with the NMC.

- Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
