Festive delivery opportunities have arisen with Royal Mail, seeking reliable and enthusiastic individuals to work as Postal Delivery Workers across Scotland during the peak festive period.

About the Role:
  • Sort and collect post/parcels at the local delivery office for efficient delivery.
  • Utilize a hand-held device for customer signature capture, navigating through a designated route for effective delivery management.
  • Engage in physically demanding tasks, walking a minimum of 8 miles daily while carrying post bags containing letters and parcels.
  • Execute deliveries on foot or by vehicle, occasionally pushing/pulling a post trolley.
Key Requirements:
  • A valid UK driving license with no more than 6 points is mandatory; a clean license is preferred.
  • Previous delivery or driving experience is desirable but not essential.
  • Demonstrate exceptional time management, organizational skills, and strong communication abilities for delivering excellent customer service.
  • Commit to safe and responsible driving practices.
  • Be prepared to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
  • Flexible scheduling: work 5 days out of 7, potentially including weekends.

Estimated Salary: £17.52 per hour
