Nurse Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to join our dynamic team in the ENT Outpatient Department at Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital.
Key Responsibilities- Provide high-quality patient care in the outpatient setting, working closely with the multidisciplinary team to deliver excellent patient outcomes.
- Assist in the development and implementation of nurse-led enhanced practice initiatives, including aural care for patients with ear problems.
- Participate in clinics and procedures undertaken in the department, including Transnasal Oesophagoscopy and other specialist procedures.
- Act as a leader in the clinical area, mentoring and supervising junior staff, and participating in the appraisal process.
- Contribute to the development of the department, including rota planning and participation in quality improvement initiatives.
- Registered Nurse on the appropriate part of the NMC Register.
- Recent experience of nursing in an acute hospital environment, preferably in ENT or a related specialty.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team.
- Competency in clinical skills, including enhanced practice relevant to the level of experience and clinical area.
