Job Description

A Long-Term, Full-Time opportunity awaits an ambitious individual to join our team as a Physiology Support Specialist at EdEx – Education Recruitment.

This is a fantastic chance for psychology graduates looking to utilise their theoretical skills and put them into practice in order to pursue a role in Physiology. Our supportive SEN unit within a Post-16 College in Ealing are seeking a dedicated specialist to work with students with severe needs including physical disabilities, behavioural challenges, and more.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to support students with a variety of severe learning and physical additional needs on a daily basis. As a key member of our team, you will be working alongside healthcare professionals and specialists including Occupational Therapists and experienced Learning Support Assistants.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting students aged 16 years and over with severe SEND/SEMH needs.
  • Working closely with experienced professionals to develop life skills and manage behaviour.

Requirements:

  • A high-achieving graduate with strong academics across the board - Psychology graduates are ideal for this role.
  • A passion for and extensive knowledge of SEND/SEMH needs.
  • An individual looking to get stuck in and make a positive difference to vulnerable young people.

Salary: £28,000 - £32,000 per annum, dependent on experience. Benefits include a supportive staff environment, opportunities for specialised training, and good transport links to Ealing.
