Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Sustainability Expert to join our team at Burns & McDonnell. As a key member of our Planning, Environment & Sustainability Services (ENS) Global Practice, you will play a critical role in shaping the future of our company's sustainability initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with our engineers and consultants to develop innovative environmental and sustainable design solutions for infrastructure projects.
  • Work closely with project teams to ensure seamless integration of sustainability principles into project design and construction.
  • Support the development and implementation of our ENS Global Practice strategy, driving sustainable growth and profitability.
  • Contribute to the creation of world-class designs that meet the highest standards of environmental sustainability.
  • Modify and review production drawings to ensure accuracy and compliance with industry standards.
  • Apply good knowledge of environmental engineering concepts, principles, and practices to deliver high-quality results.
  • Research and compile project-related data to inform design decisions and client presentations.
  • Update drawings and verify corrections in multiple CAD software.
  • Compile information for client presentations, technical reports, and contract administration.
  • Oversee field surveys, measurements, and site works for public and private clients.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering, environmental science, sustainability, or a related field from an accredited program.
  • 3-5 years of applicable experience in environmental engineering, sustainability, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of environmental engineering concepts, principles, and practices.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with others in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CAD software.
