Pertemps Edinburgh is supporting Royal Mail in recruiting Postal Delivery Workers across Scotland. As a Postal Delivery Worker, you will be responsible for sorting and collecting post and parcels at the local delivery office and delivering them to customers in the area.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Sort and collect post and parcels at the local delivery office
  • Deliver post and parcels to customers in the area
  • Use a hand-held device to capture customer signatures for deliveries
  • Carry a post bag and push/pull a post trolley during deliveries
Requirements:
  • MUST hold a valid UK driving license with a maximum of 6 points
  • Previous delivery or driving experience is preferred but not mandatory
  • Strong communication and customer service abilities
  • A commitment to safe and responsible driving practices
  • Ability to work 5 days out of 7 including potential days at the weekend
