We are seeking a highly skilled and resourceful Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team at Futures. As a key member of our Engineering Team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and safe operation of our manufacturing facility.
Key Responsibilities:- Ensure all machines and facilities are working efficiently and safely.
- Maintain machines, site services, and utilities in a timely manner.
- Read and interpret schematics or engineering drawings.
- Develop and implement best practices to maintain a sound working knowledge of mechanical and electrical functions.
- Analyze faults to determine root causes and implement corrective actions.
- Contribute to the development of a robust preventative maintenance program.
- Provide maintenance breakdown cover across all manufacturing shifts.
- Adhere to 5S principles and Health and Safety guidelines.
- HNC/HND or full apprenticeship in a relevant field.
- Experience working in manufacturing, preferably with multi-bagging systems and check-weighers.
- Strong mechanical fault finding skills and 16th/17th edition training.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
