Joinery Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Joinery Specialist to join our dedicated team at David Lewis. As a key player in maintaining and enhancing our facilities, you will have the opportunity to make a tangible impact on the lives of people with disabilities.

As a Joinery Specialist, you will be responsible for undertaking a variety of repairs, installations, and new builds across our 170-acre site. You will bring your expertise to the role, contributing directly to the well-being of our residents.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Undertaking repairs and installations to maintain the site's facilities.
• Instructing and mentoring others in joinery and maintenance techniques.
• Manufacturing, assembling, and installing new work, including repairs and upkeep of plant and equipment.
• Continuously learning new skills and techniques to enhance your practice.

We offer a competitive salary of £45,000 per annum, plus benefits, including opportunities for continuous professional development and training.

Our ideal candidate will have a recognised joinery qualification and at least 3 years of relevant experience. They will be proactive, able to work independently, and have a positive, caring approach to working with people with disabilities.
