Job Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Care Assistant to join our team. As a Senior Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents, working closely with our care team to ensure their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide person-centered care to residents, promoting their independence and dignity
  • Assist with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and medication management
  • Support residents with their physical and emotional needs, including mobility and continence care
  • Work collaboratively with the care team to develop and implement individual care plans
  • Contribute to a positive and supportive care environment, promoting a culture of respect and empathy

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Level 3 NVQ Health and Social Care qualification or equivalent
  • Experience working in specialist care, preferably in a dementia care setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
  • Commitment to delivering high-quality care and promoting resident well-being

  • A contracted 30-40 hour week, with opportunities for overtime
