Berringers is Recruiting for a Newly Qualified Accountant/Audit Senior

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated newly qualified accountant/audit senior to join our team in our Bromley office. As a key member of our audit and accounts team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality audit and accounts preparation services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and deliver audit/accounts assignments, ensuring timely completion and high-quality results.
  • Supervise junior staff during audits and reviews, providing guidance and feedback to ensure their growth and development.
  • Manage client communication effectively, ensuring seamless collaboration and excellent client service.
  • Coach and mentor staff to improve performance and technical skills, promoting a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
  • Mentor audit and accounts trainees, providing guidance and support to help them achieve their full potential.
Requirements:
  • Experience in private company audits, including planning, budget preparation, and identifying key risks.
  • Knowledge of current auditing standards and approaches, including analytical review, documenting systems and controls, and sampling techniques.
  • Prior experience in statutory company accounts preparation under UK GAAP, including charities.
Qualifications:
  • ACA/ACCA qualification, with a strong focus on audit and accounts.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • Good attention to detail, with a strong focus on accuracy and quality.
  • The ability to manage multiple deadlines and prioritize effectively, ensuring timely completion of tasks and projects.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and clients.
