About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Cover Supervisor to join our team at GSL Education - Bournemouth. As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a vital role in maintaining the continuity of learning in the absence of teachers, ensuring that students remain engaged and motivated.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise classes during teacher absence, ensuring that learning objectives are met and students remain on track.
  • Provide support to students in their learning by delivering pre-prepared lessons and activities as directed by teaching staff.
  • Maintain discipline and manage classroom behaviour in accordance with school policies, fostering a respectful and inclusive environment for all students.
  • Assist with administrative duties such as registering attendance, distributing and collecting materials, and maintaining classroom resources.
  • Work collaboratively with teaching staff to ensure the smooth running of the school day and the effective delivery of the curriculum.
