Job Title: Loss Prevention Officer

At Next, we are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Loss Prevention Officer to join our team. As a Loss Prevention Officer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and security of our warehouse operations.

About the Role:

The Loss Prevention team is responsible for maintaining the highest level of security and integrity within our distribution centers. As a Loss Prevention Officer, you will be responsible for monitoring CCTV, fire, and intruder alarm systems, conducting searches of people and vehicles, and reporting any security incidents to your Loss Prevention Manager.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor CCTV, fire, and intruder alarm systems to ensure the security of our warehouse operations
  • Conduct searches of people and vehicles to prevent acts of theft and loss of stock
  • Report any security incidents to your Loss Prevention Manager and complete detailed reports and statements
  • Communicate security risks and incidents to your Loss Prevention Manager and other relevant stakeholders
Requirements:

We are looking for a flexible and enthusiastic individual with excellent communication skills and a drive to build and maintain great working relationships with visitors, management, and employees. You will have a can-do attitude and be able to remain calm under pressure and when dealing with potentially difficult situations involving conflict.

You must be educated to a minimum level of GCSE (or equivalent) in Maths and English, with a sound knowledge of Word, Excel, and Google suites. A Disclosure and Barring Service Certificate will be required for this post, and you must be prepared to become First Aid trained as required.
