Site Manager

We are seeking a skilled Foreperson to lead our 3-person Civils Team. The team will work on a prestigious contract for a Distribution Network Operator within the Wessex region, handling both reactive and planned activities up to 33kV. As Foreperson, you will manage tasks such as excavations, duct and cable laying, and reinstatement, ensuring site safety and project efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review setting-to-work documentation, including utility prints
- Complete risk assessments and control measures before starting projects
- Lead site investigations for utility identification prior to excavation
- Oversee excavation for duct or cable installation on grass verges, footways, and roads
- Manage traffic protocols and support electrical teams as needed
- Oversee surface reinstatement (e.g., concrete, tarmac)
Requirements:
- SWQR Supervisor or Operatives certification
- SMSTS certification
- First Aid with AED certification
- Electric CSCS Shea Power
- CSCS Gold Card
- Clean driving license
