Accounting Specialist

Job Summary
Your new role
We are seeking an experienced Technical Accountant to join our team for a period of 6-8 months. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the timely and accurate recording of all accounting transactions, managing the monthly close process, and preparing financial statements.

Key Responsibilities
- Record and reconcile accounting transactions accurately and efficiently
- Prepare and post journal entries in accordance with company policies and procedures
- Manage the monthly close process, including preparation of financial statements
- Meet all financial reporting deadlines and ensure compliance with relevant regulations

Requirements
- ACCA, ACA or CIMA qualified Accountant with experience in complex organisational structures
- Exposure to IFRS and advanced Excel skills, including proficiency with Pivot Tables and Formulas
- Experience with ERP/Accounting Systems and ability to manage large volumes of data
- Strong planning and organisational skills, deadline-oriented mindset, and excellent written and oral communication skills

About You
This is a hybrid role, requiring you to work 2-3 days in the office and remote for 6-8 months. We offer a competitive salary of $80,000 - $100,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits.
