About the Role

We are seeking a skilled CAD Technician to contribute to our team's success in the steel industry. As a key member of our operations, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality digital drawings and 3D models to support our profiling machines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Program profiling machines, including lasers and saws, to optimize production efficiency.
  • Produce accurate digital drawings and 3D models from customer specifications and requirements.
  • Minimize waste and scrap per program to ensure cost-effectiveness.
  • Manage machine workload and collaborate with operators to achieve optimal Equipment Effectiveness.
  • Provide excellent customer liaison and communication with internal departments.

About You

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented individual with excellent verbal, written, and numeracy skills. Essential skills include experience as a CAD Technician in a similar heavy industry environment, expertise in Solidworks, and proficiency in Artube Lasertube Programming Software.
