P Flannery Plant Hire is a leading plant hire company with a strong presence in the UK market. We are currently seeking an Operated Plant Resource Specialist to join our team in Birmingham.

The ideal candidate will be a highly organized and detail-oriented professional with excellent communication skills. They will be responsible for resourcing operatives, maintaining databases, and ensuring compliance with data protection regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Registering new candidates/operatives onto the system
  • Sourcing and placing suitable candidates/operatives for specific jobs
  • Checking driver competencies
  • Maintaining and updating existing databases
  • Being the point of contact and maintaining relationships with operators
  • Liaising with other internal departments
  • Managing different scenarios
  • Responding to emails in a professional manner
  • Inputting data
  • Ensuring all personal data is collected, stored, and processed in line with the Data Protection Act (DPA), General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Company policies

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Ability to keep calm and work under pressure
  • Having the ability to think outside the box, and deal with various different scenarios
  • Good organisational skills
  • Work well individually and as part of a team
  • Previous experience within the recruitment sector (construction background will be ideal but not essential)

Personal Specification:

  • GCSE A-C / 4-9 English
  • IT literate with basic Microsoft Office – MS Word and Excel and in-house system
  • Preferably with previous resourcing experience
