Business Transformation Opportunity

Endeavour Recruitment Solutions is seeking a skilled Senior Business Systems Analyst to support the development of key systems, both internal and customer-facing.

As a key member of our team, you will liaise with Finance, Sales, Marketing, and Web teams, and work with vendors to realize the development of new, business-critical systems.

Responsibilities:

  1. Management and support of testing, documentation, and implementation of lessons learned.
  2. Standardization of internal processes.
  3. Advice and support for the implementation of best practices.

The ideal candidate will have:

  1. Knowledge of and experience using business analysis techniques.
  2. Ability to elicit and capture requirements, including chairing requirements workshops.
  3. Experience of capturing workflows, both written and in BPMN/UML format.
  4. Experience of working with third-party APIs.
  5. Writing test scripts/scenarios and managing testing.
  6. JIRA experience.
  7. Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
  8. Excellent stakeholder management skills.
  9. Attention to detail.
  10. Tenacity and a love for investigating data problems to the very end.
  11. Self-motivated and a team player.

Raising awareness of business analysis:

  1. Champion the Business Analysis function and service across the company.
  2. Provide coaching and mentoring services to support understanding and the implementation of a consistent approach across all projects.
  3. Lead a culture of continuous improvement of Business Analysis processes and technology usage, remaining abreast of best practices and guidance.

Desirable:

  1. Line Management experience.
  2. Experience of managing projects (knowledge/experience of using project management methodology: Prince2 or PMI).
  3. Good knowledge of SQL.
  4. Understanding of ETL and data modeling.
  5. E-commerce experience.
  6. Experience of finance fundamentals and working on finance-related projects.
  7. Publishing experience and experience of bibliographic databases, especially Biblio3.
  8. Experience with Royalties related systems.
  9. Experience of complex projects involving multiple systems and interfaces.
