Lead Your Students to Success as an EYFS Teacher

We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Teacher to join our team at a reputable primary school in Southwark, London.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced teacher to take on a leadership role, inspiring and guiding our students towards academic excellence and personal growth. As an EYFS Teacher, you will be responsible for planning, preparing, and delivering high-quality lessons that cater to the diverse needs of our students, promoting their social, emotional, and cognitive development.

We offer a competitive salary, equivalent to MPS/UPS (Main Pay Scale/Upper Pay Scale), which is negotiable based on experience.

About the Role:

  1. Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons that cater to the diverse needs of EYFS students
  2. Implement effective teaching strategies to inspire and motivate students
  3. Assess and monitor student progress, providing regular feedback and setting targets for improvement
  4. Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum materials and share best practices
  5. Maintain a safe and inclusive classroom environment that promotes respectful behaviour and positive relationships
  6. Communicate effectively with parents/guardians to provide updates on student progress and address any concerns

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Proven experience teaching EYFS students in a primary school setting
  • Excellent knowledge of the National Curriculum and assessment methods
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of individual learners
