Housekeeper Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Housekeeper to join our team at Medirest, a leading provider of healthcare services. As a Housekeeper, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of our facilities, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for our patients, staff, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Clean and maintain a wide range of areas within the building, including patient rooms, common areas, and facilities.
  • Dust, sweep, polish, mop, and vacuum designated areas to a high standard, ensuring a clean and safe environment.
  • Ensure surface areas, floors, windows, and other touchpoints are sanitized regularly, adhering to health and safety guidelines.
  • Perform additional cleaning duties as required, such as mopping up spillages quickly and efficiently.
  • Empty and dispose of bin waste, maintaining a clean and organized environment.
  • Ensure all areas are clean, presentable, and safe for visitors by following required policies and procedures.
  • Follow all health and safety guidelines when using equipment, prioritizing the well-being of yourself and others.
Requirements:
  • Previous cleaning experience in a similar role, with a focus on customer service and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work individually and as part of a team, communicating effectively with colleagues and customers.
