We are seeking a skilled HGV Class 1 driver to join our team at Barrett Steel Limited. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods within a defined geographical area.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the safe unloading of vehicles at customer premises
  • Drive both Class 1 and Class 2 vehicles
  • Ensure Proofs of Delivery are signed and returned without delay
  • Check the load security and weight distribution according to latest safe working practices at the beginning and end of each shift
  • Maintain delivery vehicles to Company standards, reporting any defects and ensuring daily checks are completed before use
