Supplier Quality Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Supplier Quality Engineer to join our team at Curtiss-Wright Corporation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement quality assurance programs to ensure compliance with customer and company requirements.
  • Collaborate with vendors, regulatory agencies, and internal customers to resolve quality issues and improve processes.
  • Conduct audits and surveillance activities to ensure supplier compliance with quality standards.
  • Evaluate contract proposals and translate customer, regulatory, and code requirements into supplier internal use instructions.
  • Implement risk mitigation toolkits with suppliers, including FMEA and Control Plans.
  • Analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement, and develop corrective actions to address quality issues.
  • Oversee critical processes to ensure product quality and support quality compliance with documented procedures.
  • Participate in the preparation and maintenance of quality program manuals and procedures.
  • Develop and implement quality improvement programs to design and re-engineer quality techniques and processes that impact cost, time, and quality objectives.
Requirements:
  • BS in an Engineering or related discipline.
  • 5+ years of experience in a relevant field.
  • Preferred experience in the Nuclear Power Industry or Navy Nuclear or other regulated Industries.
