Job Summary

We're looking for a Care Assistant to provide high-quality care and support to our clients in their homes. As a Care Assistant, you'll work closely with our clinical team to develop and implement personalized care plans that meet the unique needs of each client. You'll also provide emotional support and companionship to our clients, helping them to maintain their independence and dignity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide personal care and support to clients, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Assist clients with daily living activities, such as meal preparation and medication management
  • Support clients with mobility and transfer needs, including use of hoists and slings
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to clients, engaging in activities that promote social interaction and mental stimulation
  • Work collaboratively with the clinical team to develop and implement personalized care plans

Requirements

We're looking for a Care Assistant who is passionate about delivering high-quality care and support. You'll need to have:

Excellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamFlexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekendsBasic knowledge of care principles and practicesAbility to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
