Care Team Leader Position

Talent Finder is seeking a skilled Care Team Leader to join our team. This role will involve leading a small team of support staff in providing personalized care and educational support for two young adults with autism.

The successful candidate will work closely with the family and professionals to deliver high-quality, person-centred care. The key responsibilities of this role include directly supporting and guiding a small care team, promoting engagement through structured learning activities, addressing behaviour challenges using positive approaches, collaborating with specialists to enhance learning and life skills, and advocating for personalized care in the home and community.

To be successful in this role, candidates will need experience supporting individuals with autism, strong leadership, communication, and team motivation skills, a fully qualified UK driver's license, calmness under pressure, and a passion for learning new skills. Additionally, a willingness to engage in training including PECs, TEACCH, and British Sign Language is essential.

This permanent position offers a competitive salary of up to £30,000 per annum, dependent on qualifications and experience. A DBS check is required, and the cost will be reimbursed after successful completion of a probation period.
