We are currently seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as a Hospital Operations Assistant. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about patient care and wants to make a real difference in the lives of others.

Job Description:

This role involves ensuring the smooth operation of hospital logistics, including transporting patients, medical supplies, and equipment. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service to patients, visitors, and healthcare staff.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Transporting patients throughout the hospital, maintaining response times and standards
  • Delivering medical gas cylinders, equipment, stores, furniture, pharmaceuticals, and pathology items
  • Taking blood samples, specimens, and medication around the hospital in a timely and pleasant manner
  • Removing and disposing of waste, taking linen, and case notes
  • Transporting deceased individuals to the mortuary
  • Receiving, recording, and prioritizing job requests in line with agreed procedures
  • Supporting medical staff during emergency situations
Requirements:

We are looking for someone with excellent communication skills, able to work under pressure, and as part of a team. A full UK driving license (provisional not accepted) is desirable but not essential.
