Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Director of Operations and Performance to join our team at University College London Hospital. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for providing operational support to the Find & Treat Service and managing the administration teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide day-to-day service management and be the first point of contact for issues and queries.
- Support the delivery of performance targets, including activity and workforce.
- Improve service user experiences and develop effective reporting and communication strategies.
- Support the Operations Manager in maximizing private income streams.
- Lead initiatives to reduce clinic cancellations and improve staff and service user feedback metrics.
- Line manage two Band 4 Administrators and inspire junior team members.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in operational planning and management.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to work effectively at directorate management team level.
- Quality-focused with an innovative approach and the ability to solve complex problems.
- Commitment to self-development and staying up-to-date with current thinking and policy affecting health and public sector.
