The salary for this position is estimated to be around £80,000-£110,000 per annum, depending on experience.
About the Role
As a Consultant Psychiatrist, you will play a pivotal role in providing mental health and learning disability services. You will work closely with other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care and ensure that patients receive the best possible treatment.
You will have the opportunity to engage in medical leadership and participate in quality improvement initiatives to drive excellence in patient care.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need to have MRCPsych or equivalent qualifications and be on, or within six months of inclusion on, the Specialist Register. You must also be fully registered with the GMC and have Approved Clinician and S12 approval under the Mental Health Act.

Person Specification
The ideal candidate will have excellent knowledge in psychiatry, excellent clinical skills using bio-psycho-social perspectives, and wide medical knowledge. You will also have excellent oral and written communication skills in English and be able to manage clinical complexity and uncertainty.
