About this Role:

  • We are looking for someone to develop and implement grid connection strategies that adhere to technical requirements and regulatory standards.
  • Negotiate and secure grid connection agreements with utility companies and regulatory bodies.
  • Identify and resolve any issues that may arise in the grid connection process, minimizing impact on project timelines.
  • Work closely with project engineers to ensure that grid connection plans are integrated into the overall project design effectively.
  • Produce detailed reports on grid connection activities, progress, and challenges, ensuring transparency and timely communication with project stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • A proven track record as a Grid Connection Specialist or in a similar role within the renewable energy industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of electrical engineering related to solar energy systems and energy storage solutions.
  • Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively in a fast-paced project environment.
  • A relevant engineering degree or professional qualifications in a related field.

Salary: £450 per day (day rate). Located in Kent.
