Norse Group is seeking a Waste Management Supervisor to oversee the efficient operation of our recycling sites in Kings Lynn and Thetford. This role requires strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering exceptional client and customer service.

Job Description
  • Supervise the daily activities of site staff to ensure effective waste management practices and meet business targets.
  • Implement and maintain high standards of health and safety, fostering a culture of awareness and compliance among site personnel.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to schedule TCM cover, ensuring all site activities adhere to permitted hours and guidelines.
  • Foster strong working relationships with employees, providing training and support to help them carry out their duties effectively.
Requirements
  • A valid certificate of technical competency (COTC) in non-hazardous and hazardous waste transfer.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective working relationships.
  • Previous experience within a waste or industrial environment, with a strong understanding of safe working practices.
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate risks.
