Key Responsibilities- Control vessel space to ensure maximum utilization of BSA and daily operational tasks
- Manipulate bookings from strong loop to weak loop to maximize utilization of each loop
- Enhance booking performance by communicating with local offices
- Daily space control of current and future vessels, including allocation adjustments and/or offering alternative options based on yield management
- Creating Container Booking Forecasts and sending to vessel operators
- Review and take necessary action from SITREP/Situation Report, TBU's, loading lists, and BAPLIE files received internally and with partners lines
- Coordination with ROC, Equipment Team, Traffic and Coordination Team, Pricing Teams, and HQ Liner Operation Team to maximize ship's utilization and HMM profit
- Advising HMM position on port rotation, omissions, and cut n' run/buy and sell space
- Solving and answering any queries from regional offices, including scheduling queries
- Querying any unnatural shortfalls, low performance, and pushing for more cargoes from regions
- Preparing for and attending internal meetings
- DG/OOG monitoring in liaison with related parties
- Initiate and monitor Transhipment details to regional offices
- Creating and distributing regions' performance reports
- Reconciliation of data from RDR's
- Sending Jebel Ali declarations on relative loops
- Writing and updating of SOP relating to job function (departmental and regional guidelines)
- Shipping or Logistics experience relating to Space Management is preferred
- Shipping qualification/s desirable
- Competent in Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Strong communication, accuracy, listening, initiative, organizational, and problem-solving skills
