Job Title: Technical Safety Specialist

About the Project

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Safety Specialist to join our team on a major energy transition project in the UK. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a groundbreaking project that will have a significant impact on the UK's energy landscape.

The successful candidate will be responsible for producing a comprehensive range of technical safety deliverables, ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to enhance project safety and performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Producing and managing technical safety deliverables, including hazard identification, risk assessment, and control measures.
  • Ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations, including HSE guidelines and industry best practices.
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, including engineering, operations, and maintenance.
  • Providing technical safety input and guidance throughout the project life cycle.
  • Managing and reporting safety metrics and KPIs.

Requirements

  • Degree in Chemical Engineering or related field.
  • Experience in Safety Engineering, ideally within the Oil & Gas industry.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Experience with onshore pipelines and/or CO2 is an advantage.

Estimated Salary: £55,000 - £75,000 per annum.
