Cover Supervisor Role

We are seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Cover Supervisor to support our schools in the Cramlington area. As a Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for covering classes when teachers are absent and ensuring the pupils are engaged and learning.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise classes and maintain a safe and orderly learning environment
  • Support pupils in understanding the material left for them by the teacher
  • Encourage pupils to participate in learning activities and engage with the curriculum
  • Communicate effectively with teachers and other school staff to ensure a smooth transition of lessons
Requirements:
  • No qualifications necessary, but experience working with children or in the care sector is desirable
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Flexibility to work in a variety of school settings

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This is a temporary position, but the option to make it permanent may become available at a later date.
