About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Services Manager to join our team at Tameside and Glossop Integrated Care NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our Financial Services Team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the effective management of our financial operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the provision of financial services to stakeholders, including service users, to ensure they receive relevant, accurate, and timely financial advice and information.
  • Manage and oversee the financial functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, charitable funds, treasury management, technical accounts, and capital.
  • Ensure the Financial Services section operates in accordance with robust documented financial procedures, processing all relevant financial transactions with completeness, accuracy, and timeliness.
  • Act on issues of non-compliance with financial procedures to remove weaknesses and improve control systems.
  • Prepare and submit annual accounts notes and financial reports to the Trust.
  • Contribute to the preparation of data for inclusion in the Trust's NHS England returns.
  • Participate in the FSD/FFF steering group as an active member.
