Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Multi Skilled Engineer to join our Engineering team at Finsbury Food Group. As a key member of our cross-functional maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing site.

Key Responsibilities

  • Take ownership of site breakdowns and ensure a quick diagnosis with corrective action.
  • Use our CMMS system to provide detailed reports and ensure that the correct Health and Safety, Food Safety and Hygiene standards are followed at all times.
  • Work with the team to complete planned maintenance to a strict schedule and identify opportunities to improve efficiencies and reduce site waste and maintenance spends.
  • Mentor and coach other engineers and production operators to ensure a high level of technical expertise across the team.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to drive business growth and excellence.

Requirements

  • Time served apprentice or NVQ Level 3 equivalent in Electrical and Mechanical Engineering.
  • Strong communication skills and excellent attention to detail.
  • Previous experience in fault finding and achievement of 18th edition electrical certification.
  • PLC programming capability and general PC skills.
  • Previous food manufacturing experience is beneficial.
