Head of Physical Education

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Head of Physical Education to join our team at AWD online. As a key member of our education department, you will be responsible for leading and managing the Physical Education curriculum, ensuring that our students receive a high-quality education in this subject area.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead the development and implementation of the Physical Education curriculum, ensuring that it is aligned with national standards and school expectations.
- Manage and coordinate the teaching and learning of Physical Education, including the planning and delivery of lessons, assessments, and evaluations.
- Provide guidance and support to colleagues in the Physical Education department, ensuring that they have the necessary resources and training to deliver high-quality teaching and learning.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of the Physical Education curriculum, making recommendations for improvement and change as needed.
- Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to ensure that the Physical Education curriculum is integrated with other subjects and areas of the curriculum.
- Qualified Teacher with a strong background in Physical Education.
- Proven experience in leading and managing a Physical Education department, including curriculum development and implementation.
- Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire colleagues.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Ability to analyze and evaluate data, making recommendations for improvement and change as needed.
