NHS Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and caring individual to join our team as a care assistant in a 24/7 respite service. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for supporting children with learning disabilities, physical/emotional difficulties, epilepsy, or challenging behaviors.

Responsibilities

  • Supporting children with learning disabilities and associated difficulties.
  • Implementing care plans that promote choice and independence.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Diploma in Health and Social Care Level 2 or equivalent.
  • Literacy and Numeracy Level 2 or equivalent.
  • Completed Trust Healthcare Assistant competencies within 6 months.
