Job Title: Field Service Engineer

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Field Service Engineer to join our team at HSB Technical. As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for driving high standards while carrying out fault diagnosis, repair, maintenance, and in situ overhaul of various brands of engines, transmissions, axles, and transfer cases.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  1. Component Inspection and Repair: Safely handle, disassemble, and clean dirty, used components followed by inspection to obtain new parts identification.
  2. Re-Assembly and Testing: Re-assemble mainly engines, transmissions, axles, and transfer cases, and test and evaluate completed units to ensure product reliability and ultimately customer satisfaction.
  3. Diagnostic and Repair Services: Perform diagnosis and repair of failed units; a high degree of mechanical and electronic understanding is required.
  4. Service Reports and Training: Complete service reports and offer training to new team members.
  5. Field and Workshop Work: Ability to work in the field (based from home) but also in the workshop based in Glasgow when needed.
Qualifications and Requirements:
  1. Full UK Driving Licence: Required for field work.
  2. Full UK Passport: Required for international travel.
