Job Summary:

A Linux Systems Engineer is required to join our client's growing team in Bristol. This role involves delivering high-quality platforms and services to support various business objectives.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and maintain Linux systems to ensure seamless operation.
  • Collaborate with technical stakeholders to design and deliver scalable solutions.
  • Provide excellent support and maintenance for existing systems.
  • Implement automation tools to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate potential security threats.


Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:



  • A minimum of 18 months of experience as a Linux Engineer.
  • Experience in managing and supporting Linux-based application servers and patching.
  • Familiarity with installing, operating, and recovering Linux operating systems.
  • Excellent communication skills to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • The ability to create and manage a Linux system management practice that aligns with corporate IT policies and procedures.
