Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Production Operative to join our team at a family-owned salmon specialist business in the UK. As a Production Operative, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our production line, maintaining high-quality standards, and contributing to the success of our business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform general production work, including picking, packing, and quality control
  • Work on the freezing line, adding fresh fish to the conveyor and removing frozen fish at the end of the line
  • Assist as a knife hand on the trimming line
  • Pinbone and prepare boxes for dispatch
  • Ensure a clean and safe working environment, adhering to food safety standards

Requirements:

  • Manual handling knowledge and ability to regularly lift and move 25kg
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
