Job Title: Quality Control Inspector - Electroplating
Location: Gloucester, England, UK

We are seeking an experienced Laboratory Process Technician to join our team at Safran Landing Systems. As a Quality Control Inspector - Electroplating, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and safety of our electroplating processes.

About the Role:

  • Analysis and management of vat solutions associated with salvage activity, with emphasis on electro-plating, ideally with experience of Zinc Nickel.
  • Compilation and publication of vat analysis data.
  • Preparation and testing of laboratory equipment, including Lawrence Gauge Analysis.
  • Assistance in the control and procurement of processing chemicals in line with COMAH requirements.
  • Collaboration with supervision & engineering to resolve issues related to chemistry and ancillary equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and optimization of process control specifications.
  • Maintenance and refinement of existing works procedures (WPs).
  • Technical support for designated turnkey projects.
  • Participation in the laboratory team's management of the metal finishing facility (MFF) plating plant.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrable experience in quality control settings.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of electro-plating and its associated techniques.
  • Ability to read and understand specifications and regulatory documentation.
  • Experience with COSHH and the safe use and treatment of chemicals.

Salary Information:

The estimated salary for this role is £40,000-£48,000 per annum, depending on experience.
