Job Title: Mechanical Shift Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Shift Engineer to join our team at a leading FM service provider in Central London. As a Mechanical Shift Engineer, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and inspections of mechanical systems, including HVAC equipment, mechanical plant equipment, and general plumbing maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance and inspections of mechanical systems to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Identify and rectify mechanical faults in a timely and effective manner.
  • Conduct regular inspections of HVAC equipment, mechanical plant equipment, and plumbing systems to prevent breakdowns and ensure smooth operation.
  • Collaborate with other engineers and technicians to resolve complex mechanical issues.
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
  • NVQ / C&G Level 3 in mechanical engineering, plumbing & heating, and/or Level 3 mechanical/plumbing apprenticeship.
  • Proven experience in building services and mechanical maintenance.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
