Pertemps Edinburgh is seeking a highly motivated Soft Services Team Lead - Edinburgh to join their team on a temporary basis in Central Edinburgh.

Key details:

  • Location: Central Edinburgh with travel around the city as required
  • Hours: 36 hours per week (must be flexible with hours of work)
  • Duration: Until end of March 2025 (with possible extension)
  • Pay rate: £20.03 per hour (£720.12 per week, approximately £37,451.25 per year)
  • Start date: ASAP

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of soft services, including managing staff, coordinating sub-contractors, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. You should have a proven track record in a similar role, excellent communication skills, strong IT skills, and a driving licence.

About the role:

  1. Deliver soft services in Edinburgh to agreed service levels
  2. Manage staff and coordinate sub-contractors
  3. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and procedures
  4. Provide continuous improvement and proactive management
  5. Liaise with colleagues, internal and external stakeholders

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in facilities management or a related field
  • Excellent communication, organisational, and leadership skills
  • Strong IT skills and ability to use various software systems
  • Ability to work flexibly and adapt to changing priorities
  • Valid driving licence and willingness to travel within the city
