Job SummaryWe are seeking a qualified and experienced CITB Trainer to join our team on an ad-hoc basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering a range of construction-related courses, including SSSTS, SSSTS-R, SMSTS, SMSTS-R, and Health and Safety Awareness (HSA).
Key Responsibilities- Course Delivery: Deliver CITB accredited courses to clients in the construction industry, ensuring that training content is up-to-date and aligned with current industry regulations.
- Training Facilitation: Facilitate both remote/virtual learning sessions and in-person classroom training, creating an engaging and interactive experience for participants.
- Training Materials: Prepare and adapt training materials to suit different delivery methods and learner needs, ensuring that all materials are of high quality and relevant to the construction industry.
- Assessment and Feedback: Provide feedback and assessments for course participants, monitoring their progress throughout the training and maintaining accurate records of participant attendance and course completions.
- Training Environment: Create a positive learning environment, whether in a virtual or physical setting, ensuring that all learners are supported and engaged.
- CITB Registration: Must be registered as a CITB-approved Trainer.
- Experience: Proven experience delivering SSSTS, SSSTS-R, SMSTS, SMSTS-R, and HSA courses.
- Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of CITB regulations and construction industry standards.
- Training Delivery: Experience delivering training in both remote/virtual formats and face-to-face classroom settings.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Travel: Willingness to travel for face-to-face training delivery as needed.
- Flexible Work Schedule: Flexible, ad-hoc work schedule with competitive day rates.
