About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Podiatrist to join our team at HMP Werrington, a young offender institution in Staffordshire. As a Podiatrist with Practice Plus Group, you will have the opportunity to work in a challenging yet rewarding environment, providing high-quality care to patients with complex and chronic conditions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and treat patients with a range of foot and ankle conditions, including diabetic patients, wound management, and MSK pathologies.
  • Determine clinical diagnosis and treatment plans, maintaining accurate records as an autonomous practitioner.
  • Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to provide comprehensive care and support to patients.
  • Contribute to the development of best practice and continuous quality improvement within the team.
Requirements
  • HCPC registration with post-registration experience assessing and treating MSK conditions in an outpatient setting.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills, with the ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
