About the Job:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Support Worker to join our team at 5a King Street, Newcastle. This is a full-time position offering a competitive salary of £11.97 per hour, with opportunities for professional growth and development.

Job Description:
  • Provide high-quality support to tenants with learning disabilities, physical disabilities, and older people.
  • Develop and implement personalized care plans, taking into account the unique needs and preferences of each individual.
  • Work closely with other staff members, family members, and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery.
  • Maintain accurate records, report any issues or concerns, and contribute to the overall well-being of the community.

Requirements:
  • A QCF/NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care or equivalent qualification.
  • At least one year of experience working in a caring environment with adult clients.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Able to provide spiritual support and promote the Christian ethos of the Presbyterian Church in Ireland.
