Job Title: Mechanical Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our Premix Production Department. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out maintenance tasks on fully automatic batching plant and packing machines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out maintenance tasks on batching plant and packing machines.
  • Understand scope and safety issues relating to allocated work.
  • Sign off RAPTW and initiate equipment handover to production.
  • Manage and maintain mechanical jobs/maintenance on Ultimo.
  • Schedule work and order parts within maintenance budget.
  • Carry out defined work in accordance with DSM SHEQ requirements.
  • Record relevant job history.
  • Enter accurate time recording for job.

Requirements:

  • Time-served Mechanical tradesman with ONC or equivalent.
  • At least 5 years experience in automated environment.
  • Proven track record of technical competence in own area of discipline.
  • Good communication, flexible approach, self-starter, and team player skills.
