Remeasurement Quantity Surveyor Opportunity

Astute People is partnering with a leading Principal Contractor in the Energy from Waste sector to recruit a Remeasurement Quantity Surveyor on a 24-month contract for its West Midlands site.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the measurement and valuation of selected subcontract packages, ensuring accurate cost reports and forecasts. Key skills include:

  • Measuring and evaluating changes from revised drawings and site inspections
  • Developing and issuing sound, accurate cost reports
  • Participating in technical and commercial site meetings
  • Documenting commercial aspects of changes and claims
  • Leading subcontract commercial negotiations

The Remeasurement Quantity Surveyor role comes with a flexible day rate of £500 per day. The contract duration is 24 months.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Measure and value subcontract packages
  • Develop and issue cost reports and forecasts
  • Participate in technical and commercial site meetings
  • Document commercial aspects of changes and claims
  • Lead subcontract commercial negotiations

Requirements:

  • Experience in remeasurement and quantity surveying
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
