Support Our Team as an Asset Assistant

Theartgorgeous is a leading contemporary art gallery seeking an asset assistant to join our team. As an asset assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our gallery manager during the 1-54 Contemporary African Art Fair in New York.

About the Role

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about art and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for:

  1. Ensuring the smooth delivery and installation of artworks and presentation materials.
  2. Providing expert knowledge about artists and artworks to visitors, collectors, and curators.
  3. Communicating effectively with our team, partners, and clients.
  4. Contributing to the overall success of the fair.

Competitive Salary and Benefits

Estimated annual salary: $65,000 - $85,000, commensurate with experience. Theartgorgeous offers a competitive benefits package, including a comprehensive health insurance plan, retirement savings plan, and generous paid time off.

Qualifications and Skills

To be considered for this exciting opportunity, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field (History of Art, Art Business, or Fine Arts).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Demonstrated interest in the art world, particularly in African and African Diaspora Art.
