Global Sourcing Director

Hunter Savage is seeking an accomplished Global Sourcing Director to lead their procurement efforts. As a seasoned professional, you will be responsible for developing and executing global sourcing strategies to drive sustainable cost savings and revenue growth.
The estimated salary for this position is $90,000 - $120,000 per year, depending on experience.
About the Role:
- Develop and execute global sourcing strategies to optimize procurement costs and improve efficiency.
- Liaise with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
- Manage global supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, and monitor performance.
- Lead market analysis and competitor activity to inform procurement decisions.
- Collaborate with supply chain teams to achieve customer service and operational efficiency targets.
- Work closely with R&D, Operations, and Marketing/Commercial teams to support new product development and innovation.
- Oversee the implementation of new projects, materials, and suppliers.
- Conduct quarterly supplier reviews and maintain performance scorecards.
- Drive continuous improvement and innovation in procurement processes, including supplier joint business plans and value engineering.
Requirements:
- Extensive experience in global procurement, particularly in ingredients and packaging.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to manage complex projects.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing deadlines.
- Strong understanding of regulatory and legislative changes impacting sourcing strategies.
- Compliance with ethical sourcing policies and company standards, including data protection and health & safety regulations.
