We are looking to recruit a Retail Operations Manager at Hyde Park to join our well-established team which has a great working culture and values its people.

As a Retail Operations Manager, you will oversee all aspects of café operations, from staff management, menu development and customer service. Our café is open all year round from 7am until 9pm – Monday to Sunday, serving a selection of barista style coffees, pizza, salads, sandwiches and a large selection of bakery items.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent management and customer service skills, and thrive in a team-oriented environment. Key responsibilities include:

  • Day-to-day management of the cafe, including opening and closing procedures;
  • Recruitment, training and managing the performance of the team through ongoing evaluations, listening and mentoring;
  • Managing inventory and ordering to ensure smooth and efficient operations;
  • Maintaining high standards of hygiene and food safety;
  • Handling customer enquiries and complaints, resolving issues promptly and professionally;
  • Maintaining cleanliness and safety standards throughout the facility;

We offer a competitive salary of around £45,000 per annum, plus benefits including free lunch while on shift, free hot drinks, discounts on food & beverages, free use of sports facilities and coaching courses, when available, uniform provided, and enhanced pension contributions.
