The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Band 6 Adult Rehabilitation Occupational Therapist to join our multidisciplinary team at Redbridge CAMHS. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to children and young people, particularly within the Emotional and Behavioural, Neurodevelopment, and Conduct and Behavioural pathways.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with service users, carers, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments, including MOHO and OT ADL assessments, to inform treatment planning.
  • Provide consultation to other members of the multidisciplinary team, both internally and externally, to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Work closely with families and carers to promote recovery, social inclusion, relapse prevention, and holistic health and wellbeing.
  • Participate in regular team meetings and contribute to service development projects to drive quality improvement.
Person Specification
  • Qualified and registered Occupational Therapist with post-registration training and continued CPD.
  • Significant experience working with people with complex, acute mental health needs, including children and young people.
  • Experience of assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating aspects of care, including MOHO and OT ADL assessments.
  • Proven ability to work effectively with families and carers to promote recovery and social inclusion.
  • Strong clinical risk assessment and management skills, with the ability to make complex decisions under pressure.
